How Ink Tide got from our heads to your closet (and hopefully soon your hearts).
We didn’t start Ink Tide to win awards or get invited to brunch collabs.
We started it because we were tired of tee shirts that felt like they were written by HR departments and focus groups. You know the ones — Live, Laugh, Love, but make it Helvetica.
Nah. We wanted something with heat. With bite. With that slightly unhinged energy of someone who still plays music too loud and doesn’t ask the HOA before throwing a backyard bonfire.
So we found a way to print what we wanted — without waiting on gatekeepers, minimum orders, or some guy named Travis at a screen printing shop ghosting us for three weeks.
Ink Tide runs on caffeine, chaos, and DTG.
That’s Direct-to-Garment printing for the uninitiated — a magical little system that lets us drop fresh designs as fast as we can come up with them. Every shirt is made when you order it — no warehouse piles, no overstock bins, no pre-shrunk creativity.
We click “go,” our production partner fires up the ink, and the shirt gets printed, packed, and shipped straight to your door.
Sometimes that means your tee is still warm from the press when it arrives. Sometimes it means we’re creating designs while we're a couple of margaritas deep.
Either way: the vibe is real.
Ink Tide isn’t polished. It’s personal.
We test, tweak, and trash designs daily. We laugh at our own jokes. We have a “maybe don’t print that” folder that grows weekly. And yeah — we’ve hit a few wrong buttons.
But the best part? You're here early.
Which means you get to watch this thing grow — from a scrappy little brand with too many ideas and not enough chill, to whatever the hell Ink Tide becomes next.
So go ahead. Click something.
We’ll print it. We’ll ship it. And we'll hope you love it..
